End Novel is a free reading platform. We collect only the data needed to run accounts, reading progress, advertising, moderation, analytics, and platform security.
Information We Collect
We collect account information such as email address, display name, anonymous reader ID, authentication sessions, and account settings.
We store reading activity including progress, bookmarks, ratings, unlocked blocks, rewarded ad events, banner ad events, ad consent status, and issue reports.
When a signed-in mobile reader syncs, End Novel may store an aggregate offline download count, story identifiers, and storage totals for Store recommendations. Downloaded story text, local file paths, and precise device location are not uploaded for this purpose.
We may store technical security data such as hashed IP address, hashed user agent, device fingerprint hash, request timing, and abuse signals.
How We Use Data
We use reader data to authenticate users, sync progress, recommend stories, prevent duplicate ad rewards when rewarded ads are enabled, detect abuse, and improve the reading experience.
Store personalisation uses End Novel activity such as reading rhythm, listening milestones, credit balance, subscription status, completed purchases, and aggregate storage usage. It does not expose payment details or sensitive identifiers in recommendations.
We use aggregated analytics to understand story performance, reader retention, ad completion, unlock rates, and content quality.
Advertising
End Novel is funded by banner ads. Rewarded ads may return later as an optional unlock mechanic after provider approval and verified completion.
Ad providers may process cookies or device data according to their own policies. You can choose limited ads through the consent banner.
Your Choices
You can sign out, revoke sessions, delete your account data at /account/delete, or continue with limited ad consent where available.
Anonymous readers can upgrade to email or Google sign-in to keep progress across devices.
