Mira Voss loved her husband. Not perfectly. Not blindly. But truly. Elias made her coffee too strong, stole the blankets, remembered every small thing she forgot, and promised they would grow old arguing about the same harmless habits. Then Elias dies unexpectedly. Hours later, someone breaks into the house. As Mira investigates, the husband she thought she knew begins splitting into two men: Elias, the man who loved her, and Elias, the man with a second phone, hidden transfers, a locked storage unit, an unknown woman, and a file on someone who had supposedly been dead for years. Elias is not alive. But before he died, he prepared for death. And someone is still following his instructions. The most dangerous question is no longer who is pretending to be Elias. It is which calls Elias planned - and which ones came from someone else.
